This initiative aims to strengthen parental involvement in children’s education, providing structured resources for active parental participation and effective child development support.
Key Components of the Parent Education Package:
- Implementation Guide:
- Detailed guidelines outlining the effective delivery and management of the Parent Education Package across local levels, specifying roles and responsibilities for local authorities.
- Reference Material for Facilitators:
- Comprehensive resources specifically designed for educators and facilitators to ensure consistent, effective communication and engagement during sessions with parents.
- Illustrative Parent Cards:
- Visually engaging educational cards that simplify complex parenting concepts, promoting easy comprehension and active participation among parents.
Official Directive:
As per the official directive (Ref. No. 285-2081/058, dated 2081/11/20), all local levels are required to coordinate and implement the Parent Education Package, utilizing provided resources and illustrative cards. This initiative is part of a broader effort aimed at improving the quality and effectiveness of child education programs across Nepal.
